What it pulls out
Job descriptions bury their real requirements in paragraphs of company boilerplate. This strips that away and leaves the parts a keyword matcher, and a recruiter, will look for.

Named software, languages, platforms, and services. These are matched the most literally of anything on your resume, so spell them exactly the way the posting does. If it says PostgreSQL, do not write Postgres.

The practices and disciplines behind the tools: Agile, SEO, forecasting, UX research, financial modelling. These belong inside your experience bullets as things you did, not in a list.
Soft skills
Communication, leadership, ownership, and the rest. Worth knowing about, but do not copy them onto your resume as a list. Show them with an example instead, because everybody claims them and nobody proves them.
Repetition count
A skill mentioned four times matters more than one mentioned once. The count next to each skill tells you where the posting is putting its weight, which is a better guide to what to lead with than the order the requirements are written in.
Hard requirements
Years of experience, degree level, seniority, and whether the role is remote, hybrid, or on-site. These are the filters most likely to be applied before a human ever opens your application.

No. Add the ones you genuinely have, using the posting's wording. Copying a list you cannot back up produces a resume that passes the filter and then falls apart in the first interview, which wastes your time more than a rejection would.
Why did it miss a skill I can see in the posting?
It recognises a fixed vocabulary of common tools, methods, and soft skills. Very new technologies, internal product names, and highly specialised domain terms will not be in it. Treat the output as a strong starting point rather than a complete inventory.
